I maintain and develop the content, interface and infrastructure of SCIE and the College of Social Work websites. I ensure that all web-based products and services support SCIE’s and the College’s work and are designed to be as usable and accessible as possible. I am the primary lead for supporting and maintaining the College's web-based infrastructure, salesforce.com and associated resources.
I also assist with the maintenance and development of technical infrastructure, including installing, testing and deploying new software and systems tools. I liaise with and provide technical support to other teams and project groups within SCIE and the Skill Academy.
I have also worked extensively on the National Skills Academy for Social Care website re-writing it from classic ASP to Visual C#, redesigning the website completely, adding an AJAX left-hand navigation, re-writing the CSS and adding video and image media. In late 2010, I migrated and re-developed the website to Ektron CMS400.NET platform and also developed a new contact relationship management system called Salesforce CRM which synchronised website registered members to the salesforce contacts object.
My role included assisting the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and the Marketing division with the development and maintenance of Casio UK’s internet and intranet sites as per corporate objectives within Casio’s guidelines.
I developed, maintained, published and supported Casio sites and content whilst working closely with the Senior Webmaster. I also supported the design and maintainance Casio’s marketing database management programme and created mail shots, newsletters and competition forms using Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Visual Studio.
I undertook Flash and CSS work at Casio, predominantly on their G-Shock and Exilim websites, and optimised images/banners for the CasioAtCarnaby e-commerce site, newsletters, competitions and Casio brand logos.
I developed a web-based system using C# .NET for Casio UK’s logistics department. This was an internal B2B web application, which was used to create large orders and packaging information.
This was an industrial placement where I worked on a variety of projects including CD/DVD authoring, building Flash components and the implementation and skinning of Content Management Systems using Plone and CSS. As well as involvement in a major e-learning project, I was encouraged to use my own initiative and developed efficient time management and organisational skills.
During my industrial placement at Forward Vision, I became an intermediate user of action script 2.0 (Flash) and created slideshows and animations. My Flash work increased in complexity to interactive casual games and utilisation of XML.\
During this time, I created my own online portfolio in Flash shortly after I graduated (portfolio.ayodejiagun.com/2/), which contains some examples of work that I have done at Forward Vision and at my leisure time.
